BEST ROOFTOP BAR- EL FENN
As roof top bars go this has to be one of the best in the world. Even Madonna agrees. The queen of pop holding her 60th birthday in this iconic party spot in 2018. The rooftop itself is bedecked with striking red daybeds and loungers, comfortable patterned chairs and striped parasols that provide a stylish contrast to blue skies above. The roof terrace is open to in-house guests and non-residents. It’s large enough to ensure that there’s no need to book, 1,300 square metres, in fact. It’s certainly a magical place to catch the sunset, with a close-up view of the iconic Koutoubia Mosque and the endless rooftops of Marrakesh which stretch out before you. Grab a cocktail or a bite to eat. Then listen as the evening call to prayers transitions into a candlelit DJ set that takes you into the early hours.
And if you can stretch to a stay here the venue is also a hotel with an extensive art collection and exquisite, colourful interiors filled with crafted artisanal pieces and saturated hues.
