TAYLOR LYNN CORPORATION TAKES ACTION THIS INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY

Partnering with Emmeline’s Pantry to Support Women in Need,

The Taylor Lynn Corporation Secures Support from

B&M Stores and Jennie McAlpine

Manchester’s leading events company, Taylor Lynn Corporation (TLC), is taking a stand this International Women’s Day—not with a gala or panel discussion, but with direct action. This year, TLC is partnering with Emmeline’s Pantry, a South Manchester-based charity run by women for women, to provide vital support to some of the most vulnerable women and families in the community.

The TLC team, known for planning high-profile luxury events, is stepping away from the glitz and glamour to focus on grassroots impact. The company is rallying sponsors, collecting donations, and assembling essential supplies—including food, clothing, toiletries, and toys—to help Emmeline’s Pantry continue its critical mission.

“International Women’s Day shouldn’t just be a date in the calendar—it should be a call to action,” says Liz Taylor, CEO of TLC. “I wanted to move beyond words and do something with real, tangible impact. Emmeline’s Pantry is a lifeline for so many women, and I’m proud that TLC can play a part in ensuring they get the support they deserve.”

Since announcing the initiative, TLC has already secured the generous support of B&M Stores, whose backing will help strengthen the impact of TLC’s efforts.

Emmeline’s Pantry has experienced a staggering 225% rise in demand over the past five years and now provides food for nearly 250 people each week. However, as the cost-of-living crisis deepens, donations have slowed—leaving the charity in urgent need of resources.

“As a volunteer-led organisation, we rely entirely on donations,” says Karen Wilson, founder of Emmeline’s Pantry. “Many of the women we support are hesitant to ask for help, which is why we are and always will be a women-run charity that offers dignity and support in a safe space. TLC’s generosity will make a real difference, and we are so grateful for their help in raising awareness of the vital work we do.”

TLC will close its headquarters on March 7, 2025, to personally deliver the donations to Emmeline’s Pantry. The team will hear firsthand from women whose lives have been transformed by the charity, reinforcing the real-world impact of their efforts.

Actress, Jennie McAlpine is thrilled to support TLC’s International Women’s Day initiative. “When I heard about what Liz and the TLC team were doing, I knew I wanted to be involved,” says Jennie. “My family is everything to me, which is why I’m proud to support charities like Emmeline’s Pantry, who are truly changing lives every day.”

“Emmeline’s Pantry has given me back my self-worth,” shares one of the charity’s users. “I was on such low pay that every penny went toward bills. Emmeline’s not only allowed me to get small gifts for my family at Christmas but also provided a safe space for me. It helped me regain my confidence, step out of my flat, and rebuild my sense of purpose. Now, I’m proud to give back by volunteering for the very organisation that supported me through so much.”

TLC’s commitment to empowering women doesn’t stop here. Later this year, the company will lend its event-planning expertise to Smart Works, a charity that helps unemployed women gain the confidence, coaching, and professional clothing they need to succeed in job interviews and transform their futures.
